We Want Education, Not Incarceration.
My Friend Lisa and I spent the Day in D.C. participating in the DC Marijuana March.She and I knew the people arranging the event this year and spent the day from the beginning in Lafayette Park(where we sat patiently while people arrived) to the march across town where we ended up at the Malcolm X park(not sure of the real name).A women from N.O.R.M.L. spoke along with a marijuana patient from MD.We sat in the park with about 100 other pro-marijuana protestors and enjoyed the environment which was pretty laid back.The weather was kind of gloomy but the people didn't care which added to the atmosphere.The musical guest were pretty cool,Dub City Renegades,HR,The Package,and The New Professionals preformed.HR cut there set short after it started sprinkling...I felt like shit and was in the first days of my sinus infection I'm recovering from now.I sure wish i could have been more help,I guess there is always next year.Thanks to Lisa for the ride and invite.
